Becoming a Real Estate Broker allows you to assist clients to sell, buy, manage, and lease real estate of any type thorughout Illinois. Real estate Brokers, in Illinois, work under the sponsorship of a Managing Broker.

Requirements for Applicants for a Real Estate Broker License
|
|
- 21 years of age
- Be of good moral character
- Have earned a high school diploma or GED
- Successuflly complete the state required 90 hr pre-license education
- Successfully pass the state exam
- Be sponsored by a Managing Broker
- Complete post license eduction

Real Estate Resources Broker License Program
|
|
The complete requirement:
75 credit hour pre-license topics
15 credit hours of interactive education
|
|
|
Managing Broker's License
|
|
|
A Managing Broker's License allows the licensee to be self-sponsored and work independently, rather than be sponsored by a Managing Broker when they held a Broker's License. Managing Brokers can choose to work for another Managing Broker. In addition, Managing brokers are able to manage and sponsor other licensees.

Requirements for Applicants for a Real Estate Managing Broker's License
|
|
- 21 years of age
- Be of good moral character
- Have achieved a High School diploma or GED
- Successfully complete broker licensing coursework
- Work as an agent for 2 of the preceeding 3 years
- Complete 45 hrs of Managing Broker coursework
- Pass the state exam

The entire 45 hour requirement:
30 credit hour Managing Broker Topics
15 credit hours of interactive education
